booking

1.    ***for bridal parties/mobile groups of 5+***: a $100.00 deductible deposit is to be sent to makeupbyemmacara@gmail.com upon booking 

• to be sent within a week of confirmation of bridal/group booking 

• will be deducted; either equally across collective party’s total or only from bride’s total 

2.    mobile service only available to parties of 3+ (see mobile/on-site service for details/exceptions)

3.    additional professional makeup artist(s) will be hired to assist with parties of 5+

• max. 6 faces can be done by makeup artist (in ~6.5 hours), if time permits

• up to 4 additional professionals can be hired for larger parties (max. 5-6 faces per assistant)

• no additional cost for extra assistant(s); all hiring and payment is handled/distributed by makeup artist

4.    once signed, pricing/policy listed on client's contract at the time of booking will remain binding until appointment date

• future updates/amendments to contract will not apply to past bookings 

i) after a past version is signed, no changes will be made to previously established appointment details or quoted costs 

5.  early morning fees will be applied to start-times earlier than 6:00am

• $50.00 per every half-hour before 6:00am (e.g. 5:00am start = +$100.00)

trials/consults

1.    bridal trials are priced as regular full face applications, priced at $165.00 (see pricing on pg. 2)

• includes false eyelashes (individual or full-strip)

• single appointments will be held at home studio in Nobleton, ON (inquire for exact address) 

mobile/on-site service

1.  mobile service is offered across the GTA; priced based on distance travelled at $3.50/km

2.  inquire for travel outside the GTA

• overnight accommodations may be required for very long distance/very early start

3.  mobile service is only available to parties of 3+ 

• parties of < 3 will be held in-studio in Nobleton, ON (inquire for exact address)

• alternatively, the equivalent cost of 3 regular applications w/o lashes (min. $435.00) can be supplemented for mobile service to 1-2 client(s)

 4.   parking on premises is required for intercity appointments due to heavy equipment

• parking/valet/toll fees will be billed to the appointment holder, if applicable 

cancellation policy

1.   cancellations/changes to party size must be made at least thirty (30) days before client’s reserved date

• if party number is reduced < 30 days prior to date, total cost of the entire pre-booked party size must be paid in full before appointment date

• late cancellations of entire party may result in charges equal to full cost of the appointments

2.  in the unexpected event that makeup artist(s) are unable to attend appointment(s) (due to illness/emergency/unforeseen circumstance), notice will be given as soon as possible to ensure another makeup artist(s) of equal expertise will be found and hired to fulfill the appointment 

• deductible deposit/any lost cost(s) will be refunded

• options for replacement artist(s) will be provided, client’s preferred artist(s) will be prioritized

allergies/liability

1.   all brushes, tools and makeup products are hypoallergenic and sterilized/disposable between each client

2.   any and all specific allergies/sensitivities/skin conditions are to be reported by the client(s) prior to application

• e.g. carmine pigments, liquid latex, skincare ingredients, etc. 

 3.    client(s) are asked to bring their own mascara, if possible 

• alternatively, disposable mascara wand will be used with choice of mascara (regular/waterproof/brown/clear/coloured) 

• personal mascara, makeup products and brushes must be provided by clients with extreme sensitivities, uncommon allergies, eye conditions, etc.
